The Warranty Certificate for a new appliance guarantees the quality of the product it covers, under the legally established terms, for a period of three years from the date of delivery, all in accordance with Royal Decree-Law 7/2021, of April 27
- The seller will be liable to the consumer for any faults that appear during a period of three years from the delivery, which will be understood to have been made on the date shown on the invoice or purchase receipt, or on the delivery note if this is later.
- Unless proven otherwise, it will be presumed that any lack of conformity that appears within two years of delivery of the goods already existed when they were delivered.
- The consumer may demand from the business the correction of the lack of conformity, the reduction of the price or the termination of the contract, actions that will be free of charge for the consumer including the expenses that are necessary for the goods to be brought into conformity, especially the costs of shipping, transport, labor or materials.
- In the case of a defective product, the seller must proceed, as appropriate, to repair, replace, reduce the price or terminate the contract, actions which will be free of charge for the consumer and user.

Legal persons and entities without legal personality acting on a non-profit basis in an area unrelated to a commercial or business activity are also considered consumers for the purposes of this law.
What is Warranty 3 and how does it work?
According to the new Royal Decree-Law 7/2021, of April 27:
The standard warranty is extended from two to three years from the date of delivery of the goods; two years in the case of digital content or services.
- Manufacturer’s warranty extension, 2 additional years (24 months).
- It must be activated ONLINE within the first 12 months from the date of purchase of the product.
- The coverage period begins at the end of the legal guarantee (36 months).
- Maximum validity of 60 months from the date of purchase of the product.
- SINGLE MULTI-CATEGORY product for all electronic and household appliances, white and brown goods, telephony, computers, etc.
- The purchased product will be repaired free of charge during the warranty extension period GUARANTEE3.
- Replacement or refund of the product’s value, if it cannot be repaired.
- The Client will not have to assume any type of franchise.
- Free assistance to resolve any doubts to understand the conditions of the legal guarantee.

The maximum
- The maximum limit is linked to the type of certificate purchased.
- The maximum limit of the indicated certificate constitutes the maximum repair cost for each repair or the reimbursement of the value of the item if it cannot be repaired
- If the item cannot be repaired, the Customer may obtain a replacement or a refund of the purchase price, with a depreciation of 10% for each year of the item’s life.
Calculation of the residual value of the asset
- In the event of product replacement, the value of the consideration will be calculated by deducting 10% of the product value for each year that has passed since the date of purchase.

REGULATIONS
GUARANTEE3 is a product whose purpose is to extend the legal guarantee. During the validity of GUARANTEE3, the covered item will be repaired and/or replaced. If it cannot be repaired and/or replaced, the Customer will receive a refund of the purchase price of the item, taking into account its obsolescence
ACTIVATION
GARANTÍA3 can be activated ONLINE at www.garantia3.es within the first year of the item’s life from its date of purchase. Once GARANTÍA3 is activated, BC Warranty Management SA will assume the management of the item’s warranty, extending the warranty issued by the manufacturer, under the general conditions stipulated in the certificate and set forth below
DURATION
WARRANTY3 is intended to extend the warranty issued by the manufacturer for 2 years (or for a shorter period if the original warranty granted by the manufacturer exceeds 3 years) and effective from the following conditions
The effective start date of GUARANTEE3 will be determined as follows:
- In the case of a domestic user, from the first day after the expiry of the Legal Guarantee, of three years.
- In the case of a professional user, from the first day after the expiration of the original warranty granted by the manufacturer, generally one year.
For any item identified in the warranty extension certificate, the duration cannot exceed 60 months from the date of purchase of the item to be covered.
SUPPLY METHOD
La extensión de garantía se otorgará del mismo modo y en los mismos términos descritos en el certificado de garantía original expedido por el fabricante y vigente en el momento en que se adquiere el bien. Cuando el fabricante del bien no proporcione un certificado de garantía, se hará referencia a las condiciones de garantía presentes en la página web de dicho fabricante. La reparación por cada intervención, dentro del plazo de vigencia de la presente extensión, no podrá tener un coste superior al previsto en este certificado, equivalente a 500,00 / 1000,00 / 2000,00 / 5000,00 € (según el tipo de certificado elegido). No están incluidos en la garantía los daños y averías excluidos en la garantía original otorgada por el fabricante, causados por un mal uso del bien, o debidos al desgaste normal de los componentes.
Si se comprobaran estos hechos, BC Warranty Management S.A. notificará de forma inmediata al Cliente una estimación de costes para la eventual reparación.
Para la reparación del bien el Cliente no tendrá que asumir ningún tipo de franquicia. Durante la vigencia de la Garantía Legal, BC Warranty Management S.A. suministrará a los Clientes asesoramiento para el correcto uso de dicha garantía.
A partir del primer día después del vencimiento de la Garantía Legal, se reparará el bien sin gastos adicionales, utilizando GARANTÍA3.
Si el bien no se pudiera reparar, GARANTÍA3 propondrá su sustitución o el reintegro del importe de compra, con una depreciación del 10% por cada año de vida del bien.
CASO DE IRREPARABILIDAD DEL PRODUCTO COMUNICADO POR LA CASA MATRIZ
- En caso de sustitución del producto por parte de la casa matriz durante el período de garantía legal, Garantía3 dará al cliente la posibilidad de transferir el contrato de extensión de garantía al nuevo producto, manteniendo el período de vigencia original.
- En caso de reembolso del producto por parte del vendedor durante el período de garantía legal, Garantía3 cancelará la asociación con el producto reembolsado, permitiendo al cliente reutilizar el código del contrato con un nuevo producto.
INSTRUCCIONES EN CASO DE AVERÍA
Al constatar una incidencia en el funcionamiento de su bien, después de la fecha de vencimiento de la Garantía Legal, el Cliente deberá contactar con BC Warranty Management S.A. para comunicar sus datos personales, así como los datos del bien cubierto por GARANTÍA3.
Podrá hacerlo mediante una de las siguientes opciones:
